Our Regulatory Data team, within Data, Digital and Engineering, builds and operates the data platforms and pipelines that support regulatory reporting across Banking and Financial Services. Working closely with a broad range of stakeholders, the team helps ensure reporting obligations are met accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements, while continuously improving data quality, controls and processes.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting critical regulatory reporting, with a particular focus on liquidity reporting. You will take ownership of day-to-day reporting health, partnering closely with engineers and business stakeholders to investigate data issues, implement sustainable solutions and maintain compliance with reporting obligations. In addition, you will contribute to strategic change initiatives across the regulatory data landscape, translating business requirements into clear data solutions and helping drive continuous improvement across reporting processes and platforms.
- 5+ years’ experience in financial services with hands-on experience in regulatory reporting, ideally within liquidity reporting, with exposure to capital, financial claims or economic and financial reporting viewed favourably
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to analyse, validate and investigate complex data across reporting systems, databases and data pipelines
- Proven experience gathering business and data requirements, producing data mappings, conducting impact assessments and supporting delivery in data-intensive environments
- A strategic and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to identify underlying causes of issues and drive long-term improvements in compliance-critical environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working alongside technical teams and a proactive interest in applying AI tools to enhance day-to-day ways of working and outcomes.
