We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to strengthen architecture capability in International Corporate Branches Technology (ICBT), with focus on shaping secure, resilient and future-proof solutions across central banking platforms, payments and integration landscapes. This is a full-time employment agreement..

About our team

Meet the ICBT Central Services team. Our role is to keep critical banking solutions reliable and evolving, so corporate branch customers can use our services securely across markets.

What you'll be doing

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Contribute to define target and transition architectures for central ICB solutions across payments, core banking and integration domains.
• Translate business needs, regulatory expectations and technology strategy into clear architectural options and practical recommendations.
• Lead solution design for changes across legacy and modern technology landscapes, including platform assessments and modernisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, analysts, developers and operations colleagues across locations and value streams.
• Support delivery governance by preparing and reviewing architecture artefacts such as high-level designs, security input, solution documentation and implementation roadmaps.

Who you are

You are structured, curious and able to connect business context with technology choices. You communicate clearly with both senior stakeholders and technical teams, take ownership, challenge constructively and help others move forward in a collaborative way.

Your background and skills include: 

• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar architecture role within banking, financial services or another large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise and application architecture, integration patterns, APIs, data flows and non-functional requirements.
• Experience driving architectural analysis, solution design and decision-making across legacy and modern technology landscapes.
• Ability to communicate complex topics in a clear, structured and decision-oriented way for both business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong ownership, collaboration and documentation skills, with the ability to work across organisational boundaries.

It would be ideal if you also:

• Have experience from payments, cash management, corporate banking or SWIFT messaging.
• Have knowledge of core banking platforms, payment engines, ledger services or IBMi/AS400 based technology landscapes.
• Are familiar with security, compliance and architecture governance expectations in a regulated financial institution.
