About this Role

We are seeking a German Lease Accounting Specialist to support real estate finance operations for Vantage Towers. Based in Pune, India, the role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions within SAP RE-FX, including contract creation, modification and approval.
Fluency in spoken and written German is essential, as the role involves regular communication with German-speaking stakeholders and suppliers, as well as the handling of financial and contractual documentation in German. The successful candidate will apply lease accounting knowledge, maintain process controls and support accurate operational reporting

What you’ll do

Create, modify and approve real estate contracts within SAP RE-FX.
Process financial transactions accurately and within agreed timelines.
Communicate effectively with German-speaking stakeholders and suppliers.
Review and handle financial and contractual documentation written in German.
Apply lease accounting principles and procedures to operational activities.
Maintain and monitor relevant process controls.
Complete business-as-usual activities in accordance with agreed key performance indicators and service-level agreements.
Deliver accurate, high-quality work within established deadlines.
Apply analytical thinking and attention to detail when reviewing transactions and resolving issues.

Who you are

You have German-language proficiency at B2 or C1 level, with effective written and spoken communication skills.
You can use German confidently in both business and technical contexts.
You have effective written and spoken English-language skills.
You have foundational knowledge of accounting and an understanding of lease accounting principles and procedures.
You have experience using Microsoft Office applications.
You demonstrate effective stakeholder-management skills.
You approach problems analytically and can develop practical solutions.
You work accurately, pay close attention to detail and consistently meet deadlines.
You are comfortable working independently, as the role has no direct or dotted-line reports.
