The Opportunity

Life & Annuity carriers are modernizing core platforms, evolving operating models, and exploring how AI and intelligent agents can enable new capabilities. In this role, you will partner with senior client executives to shape transformation agendas and mobilize large-scale business and technology programs focused on measurable outcomes.

Role Summary

Life Insurance Management Consulting Senior Managers lead the transformation, integrating business, operating model, digital core, data, AI, organizational change, and delivery. They direct multidisciplinary teams, resolve cross-workstream dependencies, and maintain accountability for a coherent solution and successful execution.

Responsibilities

·       Partner with senior business and technology executives to define transformation objectives and priorities

·       Shape the vision, value case, roadmap, governance, and mobilization approach

·       Align business, operations, architecture, data, engineering, risk, change, and delivery teams

·       Oversee operating model, workflow, digital core, data, and AI design

·       Guide executive decisions by framing options, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs

·       Establish clear decisions, owners, sequencing, measures, and value-realization plans

·       Lead client relationships, solution shaping, proposals, and expansion opportunities

·       Lead and develop cross-functional consulting teams, maintaining accountability for quality and client impact

·       Travel up to 80% based on client and project requirements

Basic Qualifications

·       10+ years of management consulting, carrier, or business and technology transformation experience, including experience within Life Insurance or Annuities

·       5+ years of experience leading complex enterprise transformation, modernization, or platform-enabled change programs

·       3+ years of experience advising senior business and technology stakeholders and leading multidisciplinary teams

·       Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

·       Deep knowledge of the Life & Annuity value chain across business and technology

·       Knowledge of policy administration and digital core modernization, including workflow, data, integration, digital, risk, and change considerations

·       Familiarity with Life & Annuity platforms such as ALIP, OIPA, Sapiens, FAST, Fadata, EIS, Majesco, or comparable technologies

·       Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior business and technology leaders

·       Track record of leading large-scale transformation programs and multidisciplinary teams

·       Commercial acumen demonstrated through solution shaping, proposals, and account growth

·       Life & Annuity carrier background and relevant industry, agile, product, architecture, or cloud credentials are valued

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
