We currently have a career opportunity for a Consultant in CFO Advisory Services (FAAS).

As part of the CFO Advisory Services team within Assurance, you will help clients navigate a complex financial reporting environment and explore how AI-enabled tools can support more efficient, insightful and reliable finance processes. Our team addresses accounting, reporting and regulatory challenges, often linked to significant change events such as transactions, IFRS conversions or audit remediation. Working with a diverse portfolio of companies – from local leaders to global multinationals – you will contribute to finance transformation, applying technology and professional judgement to improve reporting quality, strengthen controls and support better decision-making.

Your key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, using data analytics, automation and AI-enabled tools where appropriate to optimize processes and enhance the quality of external reporting.
• Provide guidance on accounting policy changes, GAAP conversions and the implementation of new standards, including the development of high-quality technical accounting memoranda supported by effective research and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Support clients in developing analytical tools, financial models and AI-enabled insights to improve decision-making, planning and reporting capabilities.
• Assist in transforming finance functions by identifying opportunities to apply automation and AI, redesigning financial processes and reporting structures to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and control.
• Ensure engagements, including the use of AI-enabled tools, are executed in accordance with the firm’s methodologies, professional standards and local legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of key financial accounting principles under IFRS and apply this knowledge, professional scepticism and sound judgement when reviewing technology-enabled outputs in practical client scenarios.

What We Look For

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience in consulting, audit, or industry roles related to finance and accounting.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and local GAAP, with proven experience in technical accounting analysis and application.

• Prior exposure to consolidation, GAAP conversions, finance transformation, data analytics or technology-enabled finance projects is a strong advantage.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP/EPM tools (e.g., SAP or Oracle), Power BI, data analytics, automation or generative AI tools is a plus.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
