Get to Know the Team

The Payments and Insurance team in Thailand is a dynamic, high-impact group dedicated to driving financial innovation across the Grab ecosystem. We serve as the commercial engine behind Grab's financial offerings, operating at the intersection of technology, business development, and regulatory landscapes. Collaborating closely with regional product squads, marketing, legal, and key external partners like the Bank of Thailand and OIC, our team builds and scale solutions that deliver everyday value to millions of users.

Get to Know the Role

As the Head, Payment and Insurance for Grab Thailand, you will be the driving force behind the strategic expansion and commercial success of our financial services. You will lead cross-functional efforts to innovate, capture new revenue streams, and leverage the expansive Grab ecosystem to deliver everyday value to our users.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Deliver Financial Outcomes: Achieve core financial targets and OKRs across both the Payments and Insurance portfolios.
• External Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key external partners, including major banks, payment gateways, and regulatory bodies (such as the Bank of Thailand and OIC), to ensure compliance, negotiate competitive terms, and unlock partnership opportunities.
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and generate revenue-driving ideas by maximizing the Grab ecosystem.
• Commercial Execution: Lead end-to-end commercial deal execution, encompassing opportunity identification, commercial structuring, business case development, negotiation, and outcome delivery.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Engineer, Analytics, Finance, Legal, and Operations to launch and scale key initiatives.
• Product Prioritization: Partner with regional product and engineering squads to prioritize and execute impactful new product or feature launches.
• Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Devise and execute high-impact GTM strategies alongside Product and Marketing leaders to define target audiences, refine positioning, and optimize acquisition channels.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have at least 5 years of extensive leadership experience in the fintech, digital payments, or insurance sectors.
• Proven track record of executing complex commercial deals and driving measurable P&L growth.
• You have experience in engaging directly with financial regulators and managing banking partnerships.
• You have exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills within a highly matrixed, fast-paced tech environment.
• You have deep understanding of the Thai financial regulatory landscape and consumer market.
