Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work you'll do
As a Project - Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the Operations Transformation team, you will:
- Serve as a strategic advisor and action officer for the) program. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and tracking key command priorities related to surface ship wartime readiness and maintenance. The practitioner will assist in translating commander’s intent into executable strategic actions by supporting decision making through analysis, stakeholder coordination, and the preparation of high-quality staff products such as the manual and event-based reports.
- Help synchronize efforts across internal and external stakeholders, monitor progress against strategic objectives, identify risks and dependencies, and ensure timely execution of priority initiatives that advance exercise expansion, force readiness, operational alignment, and mission effectiveness.
- Lead the development, refinement, and execution of organizational strategy.
- Advise senior leadership on strategic priorities, emerging issues, and decision options.
- Translate leadership intent into actionable plans, initiatives, and performance objectives.
- Coordinate across functional areas to align efforts with strategic goals.
- Conduct research, trend analysis, and assessments to support strategic planning.
- Develop executive level briefings, reports, and recommendations for leadership review.
- Monitor progress against strategic objectives and identify risks, gaps, and dependencies.
- Support prioritization of initiatives, resources and organizational investments.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions, working groups, and leadership engagements.
- Ensure consistent communication of strategic direction across the organization.

Qualifications
Required:
- Associate’s degree
- Active Secret security clearance
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior level government, military, or executive leadership.
- Ability to work on site 3-4 days a week in San Diego
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Proven ability to develop strategic plans, staff products (e.g. manuals, guides), briefings, and decision supporting materials.
- Strong background in coordinating across multiple stakeholders and functional areas to drive alignment and execution.
- Management of multiple priorities in a fast paced, high-visibility environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication in a professional or mission driven setting.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in San Diego, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to San Diego and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,000 to $198,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
