Deloitte US · Atlanta, United States +16 · 2d ago
Do you want to help executives navigate disruption at a scale and speed they've never faced before? Are you the kind of person who sees a hard problem and leans in instead of looking away? You're exactly who we're looking for.
We’re experiencing a historic shift that demands fresh thinking, bold moves, and forward-looking partners. AI is reshaping industries overnight. Global markets are shifting faster than playbooks can keep up. Entire business models are being rewritten in real time. There has never been a more exciting time to be a strategic advisor.
Recruiting for this role ends on 3/1/2027.
Is This You?
You're drawn to hard problems without easy answers. You follow market dynamics for fun. You're curious about industry disruption before it makes the front page. You read about a company making a bold bet and find yourself wondering about the strategic thinking and how they will execute their vision.
You don't need to have it all figured out, but you care about creating value for organizations, not just how a plan might read on a page. You're sharp enough to find the signal in messy data. You're excited about AI, not as a buzzword, but as a tool to deploy in high-stakes situations. Most of all, you want your work to have an immediate impact.
If you want to become the kind of advisor executives trust with their hardest decisions, it starts at Deloitte as an Enterprise Strategy Summer Associate.
Your work will feed the decisions executives can't afford to get wrong.
Here’s the day to day: you’ll get a problem that isn’t fully defined, and your job is structuring the question, setting the path forward, and guiding the team from analysis to recommendation. You’ll dig into data, pressure-test insights, and turn findings into clear, actionable perspectives for clients. You’ll work independently and collaboratively with a project team, lead workstreams, and communicate recommendations to executives, helping shape agendas that turn bold ambitions into tangible outcomes. You'll be expected to think, not just execute, bringing a perspective into every conversation.
The questions that you will wrestle with are often broad, and cut across a client’s organizational domains:
- What portfolio changes will drive growth?
- Where might I cut costs or restructure to reinvest for my future?
- How should I reimagine my operations considering macroeconomic or competitive dynamics to win?
- What changes are customers demanding in their purchasing journey and how can those changes be enhanced by AI?
- Where can we create the greatest value from AI, and how should we address the rising token costs that our organizations are facing?
These are a few illustrative questions that clients are asking, and that YOU will address as part of our team!
The best strategies aren't measured by the quality of a deck. They're measured by the value they create. Strategy and execution aren't separate disciplines. As an Enterprise Strategy Summer Associate at Deloitte, you’ll learn how to connect the two.
How You’ll Grow
Our apprenticeship model means feedback shows up at every stage of the journey, beyond formal reviews. You’ll receive coaching in the moment, on the job, from people who've walked the path you're on now.
The skills you'll build as an Enterprise Strategy Summer Associate are the foundation of a modern strategic advisor: how to turn messy data into a clear insight, how to build the analysis and financial fluency that earns credibility in the room, and how to communicate a point of view clearly enough that it actually changes someone's thinking. You can be a future executive advisor or future CXO. We’ll get you ready for both.
Where You'll Focus
We advise Fortune 500 clients across all industries, serving both Corporate and Private Equity sponsors. That range is intentional. You’ll build on your experience to solve client problems that are not always familiar or defined. Early on, you'll move across industries and problem types. Over time, that breadth turns into depth: you’ll build real expertise within a strategy path and sharpen your ability to frame recommendations, assess risks, and communicate implications directly to CXOs, business unit leaders, and other executives.

Customer Strategy & Design: Leverage customer insights and analytics to shape strategic choices around customer and commercial transformation that deliver real business value. You’ll lead clients in optimizing marketing, commerce, sales, service, and pricing functions to achieve their growth and margin objectives. You’ll also work with clients to address end-to-end product and innovation challenges—designing, building, and launching new products and solutions that fuel growth.
Finance Transformation:Reimagine both the strategy and the engine behind how a business runs. In Finance Strategy, you'll partner directly with CFOs and finance leaders to shape the strategic agenda — target operating models, org design, planning, and business partnering — so finance drives enterprise value rather than just reporting on it. In Global Business Services, you'll build and scale the shared services and global capability centers that deliver Finance, HR, Technology, Procurement, and more, simplifying complexity, strengthening governance, and unlocking AI and automation. Together, they turn strategy into execution — and back-office functions into competitive advantage.
Organization Workforce & Change:Design the organizations, workforces, and change strategies that turn business strategy into results. You'll partner with clients to redesign organizations, apply emerging technologies to engineer the future of work, and drive change strategies that convert transformation into sustained performance. Connect work, workforce, organization design, and change enablement across process, data, and technology, so that results scale and stick.
Strategy & Transactions: Empower executives to tackle big-picture, ‘tip of the spear’ challenges and shape the future of their business. Here, you’ll advise leaders on how to stay ahead of disruption, drive competitive advantage, and make bold strategic moves through growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, sustainability, and more. Get ready to craft strategies that unlock value, accelerate growth, and seize new markets.
Supply Chain Strategy & Innovation: Design world-class supply chains, optimize logistics, and drive innovation in sourcing, procurement, and delivery. Here, strategic thinkers turn complexity into competitive advantage by leveraging the latest technologies and data-driven insights to reimagine how businesses move, make, and deliver. Shape bold strategies that make real-world impact—evolving global value chains, boosting efficiency, cutting costs, and outpacing competitors to reimagine how businesses move, make, and deliver for tomorrow’s success.
