In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior Commodities and Global Markets leaders, providing commercially focused people advice that supports business performance and growth. You will lead workforce planning, talent strategy, succession planning, organizational design, and change initiatives across your client groups while partnering with leadership teams to drive high performance, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and culture outcomes. Using workforce analytics, market intelligence, and data-driven insights, you will identify trends, inform decision-making, and shape people priorities. As part of a global People & Culture team, you will contribute to regional and global people initiatives, ensuring alignment between business strategy and talent outcomes while partnering closely with colleagues across talent, performance, reward, and employee experience programs. This role is based in New York and follows Macquarie's hybrid working model.
- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leaders, providing commercially focused people advice that supports business performance and growth.
- Lead workforce planning, talent strategy, succession planning and organizational design initiatives across your client groups.
- Partner with leadership teams to drive high performance, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement and culture outcomes.
- Use data, market intelligence and workforce analytics to identify trends, inform decision-making and shape people priorities.
- Lead and contribute to regional and global people initiatives, ensuring alignment between business strategy and talent outcomes.
- Partner closely with global People & Culture colleagues to deliver a consistent approach across talent, performance, reward and employee experience programs.
Salary range for this position: $150,000 - $190,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. - Significant experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a complex, global and matrixed organization, including partnering with senior executives and business leaders.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Financial Markets, Global Markets, Sales & Trading, Investment Banking or comparable front-office businesses within financial services.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate business strategy into people priorities and talent outcomes.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills with the credibility to challenge and coach senior leaders.
- Sound knowledge of US employment law and experience operating within regulated environments.
