AI Enablement & Program Operations
Perella Weinberg · New York, United States · 1d ago
Perella Weinberg is seeking an Innovation Associate to run and build on the firm's AI program in direct partnership with stakeholders across the Corporate functions. This is a hands-on operator role: you will own the recurring work that keeps the program running - adoption reporting, training and onboarding materials, vendor and contract follow-through, pilot logistics, and Claude administration - and grow into building the proprietary skills the firm runs on.
Perella Weinberg runs Claude Enterprise firm-wide, roughly 750 seats across the firm's 12 offices in five countries, with 95%+ adoption driven by demand rather than mandate. The program is now in a build phase: the firm's own expertise is being packaged into a proprietary skill library the whole firm uses every day. This individual will combine Anthropic's Claude models and tools (Claude Skills, MCP servers, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cowork), Microsoft 365, and custom-built solutions to improve processes, enhance data quality, and create operating leverage across the Corporate functions.
The successful candidate is a self-starter who thrives in an ambiguous, dynamic environment and craves the opportunity to build solutions end-to-end with a variety of tools while having significant autonomy. No engineering background is required - this program was built without one.
Responsibilities
- Reporting. Produce the recurring adoption and usage reporting and the readouts leadership needs, including the drivers behind the numbers and where a metric is not telling the full story
- Training and onboarding materials. Keep the training library current - the Workday onboarding journey, guides, and session materials - working with other departments so it stays accurate across firm platforms
- Keeping things moving. Push contracts, vendor items, and internal processes along so nothing stalls; assist with Claude administration, including placing people into the proper groups with the proper roles
- Pilot logistics. Run the logistics as new features deploy - scheduling, tester groups, feedback, and follow-through
- First-pass skill development. Draft and self-test new skills, growing into the work as you learn the library; the Head of Innovation approves what ships
- Corporate up-skilling and AI consultation. Own AI up-skilling for the Corporate teams, get them fluent across the full tool stack, and be their first call for how-to questions
- Workflow redesign. Learn how Corporate teams actually work, spot the bottlenecks, find where AI reshapes the process, and help rebuild it
- Ad hoc data clean-up. Take on multi-step data clean-ups spanning many stakeholders; sequence the work end to end so it is fixed once and stakeholder whiplash is minimized
- Ad hoc operational support. Pitch in on other firm priorities that touch AI use and development
- Firm-level strategy stays with the Head of Innovation: the Anthropic and broader vendor relationships, firm-wide communication and training, advisory-business consultation, workflow strategy at the firm level, ownership of the firm skill library, and final approval on any skill that ships firm-wide.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
- At least four years of experience in a corporate setting with cross-functional exposure, using every resource available and working across groups to reach strong outcomes
- A builder's mindset - comfortable prototyping, shipping, and iterating rather than only administering; you tinker, adjust, and pull the thread to the end
- Fluency across the full AI tool stack (Claude Enterprise, Claude Skills, connectors, Cowork, Microsoft 365, dashboards, scheduled jobs) and in how work actually gets done
- Strong analytical skills and clear writing; you are ruthless about inspecting data, catch the wrong date or the wrong-office currency before anyone else, and tell a story with data rather than just putting numbers on a page
- A fast learner and the most curious person in the room - quick to ask questions, know which resources to tap, and pull in a subject-matter expert when you do not know
- Deep organization and a mastery of prioritization; everything is on your radar and you ask the right questions to decide what matters most
- An approachable, humble manner and the ability to work with people at every level, consulting and guiding a colleague without making them feel behind
- The habit of shipping fast and soliciting effective feedback - putting work in front of the right people early and getting the internal customer as close to what they want as possible
- Vigilance on compliance and legal while pushing new technology forward; the program sits close to client and deal information, so knowing which questions to ask about access and information sharing is mandatory. Experience in a regulated space helps
- Comfort with ambiguity and the initiative to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
