What You'll Do We’re looking for an Asset Management Analyst to join our Principal Real Estate team. In this role, you’ll perform lease analysis, valuation modeling, cash flow analysis, development feasibility analysis, and reporting while supporting private equity asset management services for client portfolios. The Asset Management Group is involved throughout the investment life cycle, including ground-up development or redevelopment, acquisitions and dispositions, and oversight of property management and leasing. Asset managers help develop the investment strategy and tactical plan for each property and are primarily responsible for execution. Work closely with Senior Asset Managers and local market contacts, including property managers, leasing agents, and capital markets/transaction brokers, to develop budgets and business plans and assist with investment underwriting. Participate in the quarterly portfolio management reporting process. Assist with investment management and investment production for assigned properties, including core, value-add, and development activities. Build a solid foundation of commercial real estate knowledge while working autonomously within a team environment and demonstrating initiative. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree, with evidence of a strong background in finance, mathematics, economics or business, real estate preferred Financial modeling experience that would include Excel, Argus, and/or Power BI Skills That Will Help You Stand Out Real estate experience through a co-op, a full-time role, or an internship. Effective verbal and written communication, negotiation, and listening skills. Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with limited supervision. Strong analytical skills and attention to technical detail, including the ability to read, interpret, and understand contracts and other legal documents. Will travel to assigned markets approximately three to four times per year to learn the markets, meet with partners and third-party property managers, and inspect managed properties. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $73150 - $90000 / year Salary Details In addition to base pay, this role participates in an annual profit share bonus plan. Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
