ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its neurology services and is seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to join its clinical team.
The role offers an opportunity for an internationally trained neurologist to work within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurological care while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high standards of patient-centred care.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with a broad range of neurological conditions.
• Manage acute and chronic neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies and neurodegenerative conditions.
• Perform comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualised diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Interpret and correlate neurological investigations, including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG/NCS and other relevant studies according to clinical expertise.
• Provide appropriate management of acute neurological presentations and coordinate timely referrals or escalation where required.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, neuroradiology, rehabilitation, internal medicine, emergency medicine and other relevant specialties.
• Provide patient and family counselling regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medication and long-term disease management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based neurological care protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations, patient safety standards and professional requirements.

• American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology – Neurology
• UK CCT / MRCP with recognised Neurology training
• European Board or National Specialist Certification in Neurology
• Royal College Certification, Canada
• Australian FRACP with Neurology training
• Arab Board
• MD / DM / DNB / FCPS or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
Candidates from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa and South America may be considered, subject to eligibility for UAE medical licensing and the healthcare facility's credentialing requirements.
