What will my responsibilities look like?
- Support the execution of leveraged finance transactions, including leveraged loan and high yield bond issuances, acquisition financings, recapitalizations, refinancings, and other debt-related transactions
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including operating models, LBO models, debt repayment models, valuation and scenario analyses
- Analyze corporate credit profiles, capital structures, liquidity positions, and financial performance to evaluate financing alternatives for clients
- Prepare transaction marketing materials, lender presentations, offering memoranda, management presentations, and pitch books for debt financing opportunities
- Conduct industry, company, and market research, including analysis of leveraged finance market conditions, comparable transactions, and relative value assessments
- Assist in the structuring, underwriting, syndication, and execution of debt financing transactions in partnership with sponsors and corporate clients
- Monitor leveraged loan and high yield bond markets and provide insights into market trends, pricing dynamics, investor sentiment, and new issuance activity
- Support due diligence processes by reviewing company financial information, credit agreements, legal documentation, and transaction-related materials
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if:
- You have an undergraduate or graduate Degree in Business, Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Economics or Mathematics discipline or related fields to be completed between December 2026 and July 2027
- You have a strong interest in financial markets, credit analysis, debt capital markets, and leveraged finance
- You have a proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities
- You work seamlessly within MS Office Suite with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
- You have strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis and accounting
- You can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can clearly present detailed financial analysis to various stakeholders
- You are a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
