What the day will look like Reporting to the Payroll Manager in Australia, your responsibilities will include: Calculate redundancy quotes. Understand the rules of annual & LS leave accruals and reconcile leave issues. Calculate the superannuation portion from bonus payment. Download tickets from Snow. Set up new hires on payroll. Calculate overpayments and termination payments. with knowledge of calculating periodic tax for terminations/bonuses. Send payslips to employees. Prepare separation certificates. Key to being successful in this role, is your prior payroll experience and your strong understanding of AU legislation and obligations. Experience with Australian and/or New Zealand end-end payroll Microsoft Excel skills to ensure the accurate transfer of data Your ability to problem solve and meet deadlines Strong communication skills both written and verbal Tech Savvy, with strong knowledge of MS Suite Relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline – Payroll and Accounting (desirable) Experience with using enterprise packages and payroll software, SAP, PeopleSoft but not crucial.
