Position Summary & Overall purpose: The Jr. Asset Management Associate will work directly with the SVP, Broker Dealer Operations & Solutions and Senior Asset Management Associate, Team Lead to successfully service existing clients and onboarding new clients who are placing their trust in Lenox Advisors to take care of their total investment needs. The Jr. Asset Management Associate shall demonstrate proficiency in all client service processes, systems, and procedures. In addition, the Jr. Asset Management Associate will build proficiency in all new client onboarding processes, systems, and procedures to ultimately develop in the Asset Management Associate role. Special projects may be assigned at the discretion of Lenox leadership. This is a hyrid role reporting to our NYC office 2-3 days a week. Job accountabilities: Develop proficiency in all existing client service processes, systems, and procedures. Learn to manage RM/Client work items with expediency and superior customer service. Develop Lenox Asset Management (LAM) subject matter expertise, start to build a strong understanding of the LAM service processes, systems, and procedures. Begin to develop a strong understanding of the MMLIS platform, services, and personnel. Builds proficiency in new client onboarding processes, systems, and procedures. When trained and required, support AMA team to onboard new investment clients. Learn to understand the relationships within the firm and LAM team including Relationship Managers, Asset Managers, neighboring departments, MMLISI, and vendors as well as the end client. Job competencies: Required Knowledge LAM and MMLIS subject matter expertise as it relates to existing client service processes, systems, and procedures. Knowledge of various investment product characteristics and behavior in various market environments. MOSAIC: Intermediate skills related to tasking and arrays for companywide projects. Understanding of available reports such as Net Flow Reporting and Scorecards. Introductory subject matter knowledge on new client onboarding processes, systems, and procedures. MMLIS Technology: Intermediate skills related to A360, ENV3, Fieldnet, VAOE, and FOAE. Required Skills/Abilities Build positive working relationships with clients and Relationship Managers. Identify and escalate potential problems and develops contingency plans in advance and quickly identifies the central or underlying issues in a complex situation. Required Behaviors/Attitudes Proactive; Self-Starter with the ability to think on their feet. Views problems as opportunities to improve processes and make things better. Has a strong sense of urgency about solving problems and getting work done and genuinely cares about delivering a positive service experience. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location.
