About the Role
As a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Banking and Capital Markets Professional Services business. You will drive financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives that help leaders make informed decisions. This role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and provides the opportunity to influence business outcomes through data-driven insights and financial leadership.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and initiative owners to support strategic programs and drive financial performance.
- Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of complex financial models used for forecasting, planning, and decision-making.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support annual planning, quarterly forecasts, monthly reporting, and long-range financial planning activities.
- Create and validate financial analysis models that measure initiative performance and business impact.
- Review and reconcile financial, workforce, and operational data across planning and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Translate complex financial information into clear recommendations and executive-ready presentations.
- Leverage large datasets and business intelligence tools to uncover insights that support growth, efficiency, and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Finance, Operations, Professional Services, and Business Leadership teams.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance, or a related discipline.
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting processes, and GAAP principles.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Professional Services, Banking, Capital Markets, Fintech, or Technology organizations.
- Experience with Workday, Adaptive Planning, Essbase, Wave, Hyperion, Beeline, or similar enterprise planning and reporting tools.
- Experience working with large datasets and advanced reporting or visualization tools.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification.
