Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
- Primar focus will be to support our Private Equity team across three core workstreams: commercial real estate (CRE) portfolio operations, cash and liquidity management, and private equity deal waterfall modeling. This role requires strong technical finance skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while collaborating closely with deal teams, fund controllers, and senior leadership.

Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience in private equity, real estate finance, fund accounting, or a related consulting/advisory role
- Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, waterfall mechanics (European and American models), and carried interest calculations
- Experience with cash management, treasury operations, or corporate liquidity forecasting
- Advanced Excel modeling skills (required); experience with VBA, Power Query, or similar tools a plus
- Familiarity with CRE asset classes and property-level financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward either credential
- Prior experience at a private equity firm, fund administrator, or advisory/consulting firm serving PE clients
- Exposure to fund accounting or reporting systems
- Experience preparing materials for LP reporting or investor relations
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 to $143,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
