Intern

Why join us?

Our internship programs give you a real-life insight into a future career. Like what you see and perform well, and you’ll be offered the opportunity to join us.

Your journey kicks off our experts to give you the technical know-how to hit the ground running. By the end of the internship, you’ll have a solid understanding of the Corporate and Institutional Banking, how it all fits together, and where you could make your mark.

We’re looking for people who love building connections, supporting others, and making a real impact. You don’t need to know everything about banking – bring your curiosity and drive, and we’ll help with the rest.

If you’re the kind of person who gets a buzz from helping others succeed – and loves the idea of being part of your clients’ story – we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

• From day one, you’ll be part of a dedicated team - work alongside experienced colleagues, and gain exposure to real projects that impact our clients.
• You won’t just be watching from the sidelines – you’ll be learning by doing, contributing to meaningful work, and developing skills that will stay with you throughout your career.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll get involved in:

• Work with specialist teams: See how our managers partner with experts across the bank to grow client relationships and deliver tailored financial solutions.
• Build your analytical skills by breaking down complex problems and making sense of numbers, data, and trends – with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
• Daily trade settlement support: Assist in monitoring and verifying the status of daily trade settlements
• Get hands-on with real tasks: You’ll help create presentations, reports, and finance related papers; support strategic reviews and pitches; and conduct financial analysis and risk assessments.
• Get confident using the tools the industry relies on – like financial modelling platforms, data dashboards, and market intelligence tools – so you can turn complex information into clear, compelling insights.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Available to work fulltime internship for 16 - 24 weeks commencing November 2026 to February 2027.
• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate program in Accounting, Finance, Management, Banking or business equivalent to this.
• In your final or penultimate year of studies, expected to graduate in 2027.
• Obtained, or expected to achieve, a GPA of at least 4.0 / 5.0 or 3.2 / 4.0 or 2nd class upper (as appears on your official university transcript or degree certificate), or overseas equivalent to this.
• Ability to speak and understand English fluently, write business letters and reports, and have good conversational / telephone skills
• Ability to learn quickly, transfer knowledge appropriately, understand and interpret numeric data.
• Working Hour: Between 9AM - 6PM / 10AM - 7PM / 11AM - 8PM.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

• Clear communicator: You know how to break down complicated information and explain it in a way that makes sense – in person, in writing, and over email. You can share your point of view confidently, and you listen well too.
• Analytical thinking – You enjoy working with numbers, spotting patterns, and paying attention to the details. Whether it’s reviewing data or checking for formatting issues, you’ve got a sharp eye and a methodical approach.
• A team player: You work well with others, pitch in when it counts, and your colleagues know they can count on you. Collaboration is everything – we succeed together.
• Fast-paced and detail-oriented: You can juggle different tasks, and work well under pressure, paying attention to detail and adapting when priorities shift.
• Always learning: Markets change all the time, and so do we. You’re curious, adaptable, and always up for learning something new – whether that’s exploring a fresh topic or rethinking the way something’s done.
• Evidence of good analytical, statistical and data mining skills to study trends and make projections. Production management skills and ability to initiate process improvements.
