• Work closely with Network Engineers, Data Center Engineers, SREs, vendors, and other teams to resolve issues and maintain reliable infrastructure.
• Provide operational coverage during the European morning to support IEX’s U.S. infrastructure and trading operations.

Your Background:

• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering or network operations experience.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, STP, and routing and switching fundamentals.

• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Exposure to Python, Ansible, or other network automation tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to take ownership of operational issues.
• Experience with multicast, low-latency/high-performance networks, cloud infrastructure, or financial markets technology is a plus, but not required.
Experience at an exchange, proprietary trading firm, or other electronic trading environment is not required.
