As Account & SSI Reference Data Product Delivery Professional within our Change & Strategy (Account & SSI Reference Data) Team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Product Delivery Leads, setting clear accountabilities, coaching delivery practices, and building a strong delivery culture.
- Own end-to-end delivery of capabilities and releases across definition, build, testing, release, stabilization, adoption, and continuous improvement aligned to product vision and roadmap.
- Translate strategic outcomes into executable delivery by partnering with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Technology to define epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, sequencing, and integrated plans.
- Shape delivery-ready backlogs through prioritization, refinement, dependency management, and cross-functional alignment across Product, Technology, Operations, and Control partners.
- Influence senior stakeholders by articulating delivery outcomes, release health, trade-offs, customer impact, and realized value.
- Lead release planning and delivery governance by owning scope, milestones, readiness criteria, implementation/cutover activities, and post-release support.
- Ensure operational readiness and controls for each release, including training, communications, support model/runbooks, control requirements, and measurable success criteria.
- Establish and run an effective delivery cadence (refinement, planning, demos, readiness reviews, retrospectives) enabling timely decisions, clear ownership, and consistent progress.
- Coordinate delivery across interconnected capabilities and teams by actively managing dependencies and cross-team impacts while maintaining delivery accountability.
- Monitor release health and delivery confidence by managing RAID, stakeholder alignment, escalation paths, and blocker resolution.
- Drive adoption, feedback loops, and continuous improvement by tracking customer outcomes and post-implementation performance.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Extensive Vice President level experience leading product delivery, product transformation, and complex capability delivery in Financial Services.
- Proven cross-functional delivery track record across Product, Technology, Operations, and Control organizations, including end-to-end releases.
- Strong practical Agile delivery expertise (Scrum/Kanban/hybrid) with deep understanding of product lifecycle, operating models, and delivery governance.
- Demonstrated backlog and scope shaping skills (epics/features/user stories, acceptance criteria, refinement, sequencing, dependency management, release readiness).
- Strong delivery leadership and risk management capabilities (release health, delivery confidence, RAID, escalation, and blocker resolution).
- Outcomes and value orientation with experience defining and tracking measurable success criteria, adoption, feedback loops, and value realization.
- Executive communication and leadership skills with strong analytical/problem-solving capability and senior stakeholder influence.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint/Excel/Word).
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Domain knowledge in Investment Banking, Securities Services, Reference Data, and/or the Settlement lifecycle.
- Transformation delivery experience across strategic data initiatives, platform change, and/or operating model change.
- Practical experience with measurement frameworks (roadmaps, KPIs/OKRs, adoption measures, customer outcomes, value-realization frameworks).
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile/SAFe, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for AI and automation integration within operational workflows, including experience evaluating, implementing, or governing AI-driven solutions to achieve scalable process improvements and strategic objectives.
