Our young, dynamic and fast-growing office in Netherlands employs 120 consultants and supporting colleagues. We are proud of the close-knit culture within our Amsterdam office. We are creative, dedicated, ambitious, entrepreneurial and passionate - and at the same time social, energetic, open-minded and respectful. We help each other to bring out the best in each other and the best for our clients. Besides our client work, we foster our office culture through many social activities together, from sports and drinks to office trips and celebrations of holidays.

What we offer

Your success is our success. We offer plenty of opportunities for development, (inter)national training courses and a mentor to support your development. In addition, we offer excellent benefits, including 30 days of vacation, transportation benefits, a non-contributory pension and a contribution to your health insurance.

What you will be doing

You will contribute to high-impact projects shaping the future of the chemical industry and its adjacent sectors. As chemistry is a critical enabler of industries ranging from automotive and construction to electronics and pharmaceuticals, you will not only address the challenges of the transition of the chemical industry, but create impact far beyond in both upstream and downsteam value chains. For example, the transition of the industry goes hand-in-hand with the energy and water transitions being equally intertwined with these challenges, and creating a wide range of questions that cut across industries and expertise.

You will work in (international) teams and collaborate closely with clients on core topics such as decarbonization, circularity, resilience & competitiveness and innovation. You will tackle complex questions at the intersection of strategy, M&A, operations, technology and innovation, from redefining strategies and portfolios and responding to changing customer needs and regulation, to transforming operations, developing new business models and driving innovation.

You will be at the forefront of an industry in transition, helping companies navigate uncertainty, solve complex challenges and build the future.

As a Senior Consultant / Project Managerat Roland Berger you will:

• Take the lead for modules in larger projects, and complete project management of smaller projects (typically leading three to five consultants).
• Coach and develop the consultants in your project teams.
• Have direct client contact and lead presentations during client meetings.
• Work closely with industry experts at Roland Berger.
• Contribute to Roland Berger’s knowledge development by capturing insights and drawing lessons from client work.
• Participate in office-wide projects (e.g. in-depth studies on current topics) that further develop Roland Berger or its thinking in a specific area or sector.
