WHAT YOU'LL DO
Braze is looking to hire a Solutions Consultant focused primarily on our Small-to-Medium (SMB) Business Segment, servicing our ANZ book of business. Braze Solutions Consultants are trusted advisors to our prospective customers during the sales process, bringing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to bear. We strive to lay strong foundations, beginning pre-sales, for a long-term partnership between Braze and our customers. The Solutions Consultant role is a critical member of the team, whose job includes being a technical thought leader across the General Business verticals, across various customer types, and geographic markets.
Braze Solutions Consultants blend the “art” of storytelling and sales with the “science” behind how our technology tactically delivers value for our customers. During the sales process, we help "make it real," with the aim of building prospective customer confidence in Braze's capabilities & team.
This role is an opportunity to expand on your thought leadership skills, while partnering with Braze’s sales, marketing, security, and product teams. The role will draw upon your experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success, along with a high level of curiosity about all things tech.
The role requires some travel, at most 40% at peak times, and is based in our Sydney office.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Be on the leading edge of new Braze capabilities, positioning our new BrazeAI capabilities, including AI Decisioning Studio, AI Content Optimizer, AI Agents, and more, to our most sophisticated customers.
- Collaboration! Complete support of your teammates across all departments and a real “get it done” attitude for our customers
- Intellectual Curiosity – Stimulated. Opportunities to be challenged beyond your existing capabilities with the full support of your teammates and our leadership team
- Respect — Braze Solution Consultants are widely recognized as a critical cog of the overall Braze engine. Our broad product knowledge makes us common extended members of product strategy sessions, marketing positioning decisions, pricing and packaging, and more.
WHO YOU ARE
- People say you’re a great communicator! You have exemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with unparalleled follow-up skills. You leave people with the impression that you are really listening to them and understand their problem.
- You’re known for being a “team player.” We just can’t emphasize this enough.
- High level of intellectual curiosity. You see opportunity and growth in learning more about what you do and how it impacts others.
- You have experience selling into accounts with a sophisticated Pre-sales Consulting or Sales Engineering team.
