Position Summary
As a Sales Ops Consultant, you will be responsible for individually delivering high-quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
- Translate Sales Operations requirements into scalable technology solutions supporting:
- Territory and account alignment
- Segmentation and targeting
- Quota and incentive planning
- Sales forecasting
- Pipeline and opportunity management
- Account planning and field productivity
- Commercial performance reporting
- Define appropriate human-in-the-loop controls, access controls, auditability, evaluation criteria, and escalation paths for AI-enabled solutions.
- Take part in discovery workshops, user story writing, process assessments, design sessions, demonstrations, and user acceptance testing.
- Partner with business stakeholders, commercial leaders, IT teams, data scientists, architects, and implementation teams.
- Establish solution roadmaps, implementation plans, adoption strategies, and measurable value cases.
- Support pre-sales activities, including proposals, solution demonstrations, estimates, and client presentations.
- Ensure solutions reflect life sciences-specific requirements related to HCP/HCO data, field force structures, regulatory expectations, data privacy, and commercial compliance.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, CRM, business transformation, or technology implementation.
- 2+ years experience with Salesforce, Veeva CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle CPQ, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, SAP CPQ, or similar platforms.
- 1+ years experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, or healthcare commercial operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent from accredited university.
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Sales Operations processes and performance drivers.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-
- Knowledge of HCP/HCO master data, customer consent, field force effectiveness, promotional compliance, and commercial data governance.
- Experience with cloud platforms, data warehouses, business intelligence tools, and low-code/no-code automation platforms.
- Familiarity with AI governance, model evaluation, prompt engineering, agent monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
- Consulting, systems integration, and product management experience.
- Practical knowledge of Agentic AI, generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, or AI orchestration.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,000 - $170,000
