BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting.
Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered. The role requires a deep understanding of financial data and trends to support the organization's financial health and strategic objectives. By aligning with BNY's principles of integrity, collaboration, and innovation, the Senior Specialist contributes to a culture of excellence and client-focused service.
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Sr Specialist to join our LINE of Engineering . This role is located in Pittsburgh.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts by leveraging advanced analytical skills and financial acumen.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations to support strategic decision-making, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared goals.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and variances to provide actionable insights.
- Support the continuous improvement of financial planning processes by implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, upholding BNY's commitment to integrity and ethical standards.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Typically 4-6 years of experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial insights to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
