We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, First Line Risk Manager to join our First Line Risk team in Markets.. This role is located in London
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Leadfirst-lineriskoversightacrossExecutionServices,coveringPSL/PSILFIEQExecution,IB&LB FixedIncomeExecution,Pershing-relatedactivities,24-HourTrading,andstrategicclientonboarding.
Establishandgovernriskmonitoringframeworks,includinglimits thresholds,andescalationtriggers,ensuringalignmentwithglobalstandardsandriskappetite.
DriveaconsistentcontrolenvironmentacrossEMEA,partneringwith TradingDesks,CreditServices,Compliance,andSecondLineRisktostrengthen riskgovernanceandoperationalresilience.
Enablebusinessgrowththrougheffectiveriskpartnership,providingriskassessmentsandonboardingrecommendationsforstrategicclients,newproducts,andbusinessinitiatives.
Supportglobalfollow-the-sunriskcoverage,deliveringcontinuousoversightforPershing,ExecutionServices,andClearingactivitieswhileproactivelyidentifying,escalating,andmitigatingemergingrisks.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or related quantitative discipline.
Experience in Markets, Financial Resource Management, Treasury, Risk Analytics, Liquidity Risk, Counterparty Risk or Financial Risk Management
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering effectively with Front Office, Credit, Compliance, Operations, and Second Line Risk teams.
Commercial judgment and risk assessment capability, with the ability to support strategic client onboarding, business growth initiatives, and risk appetite decisions.
Demonstrated leadership in control environments, with experience driving global operating models, continuous monitoring, and follow-the-sun risk oversight across multiple regions and legal entities.
