Work You’ll Do
As a Project - Senior Consultant, Forensics and Investigations, on the project, you will:
- Support federal law enforcement investigations through the examination of financial records, transaction data, and other financial information to identify fraud indicators, trace funds and assets, uncover financial relationships, and develop investigative leads.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize financial and operational data; identify anomalies, entities, transactions, and patterns of concern; produce clear and defensible analytical products; and support investigators with timely financial analysis.
- Examine bank records, general ledgers, invoices, contracts, expense reports, payment data, and other financial documents
- Trace funds and assets across accounts, entities, jurisdictions, and transaction pathways
- Identify unusual transactions, financial anomalies, fraud indicators, and potential schemes
- Correlate financial data with investigative information to develop timelines, entity profiles, relationship maps, and funds-flow analyses
- Produce investigative memoranda, financial analysis reports, exhibits, charts, and briefing materials
- Validate source data, document analytical methods, and maintain clear workpapers supporting conclusions
- Support investigators with rapid-turn analysis, case development, interviews, and ad hoc research
- Handle sensitive information in accordance with applicable legal, privacy, evidentiary, and policy requirements

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years of experience conducting forensic accounting, financial investigations, fraud analysis, or investigative financial research
- Demonstrated experience in accounting, financial analysis, and research
- Experience with current and anticipated banking anti-money laundering regulations and practices or fraud detection.
- Active Top Secret Security clearance required.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 5 days per week in Vienna, VA.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Experience supporting federal law enforcement, national security, regulatory, or public-sector investigative missions
- Familiarity with fraud schemes, money laundering typologies, asset tracing, sanctions-related investigations, or financial crimes
- Experience analyzing beneficial ownership, shell companies, complex entity structures, or cross-border transactions
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, visualization tools, e-discovery platforms, or financial analytics software
- Experience preparing investigative exhibits, funds-flow diagrams, timelines, and briefing-ready materials
