• Build and evolve maintainable automation frameworks using tools such as Karate, JUnit, and TestNG (or similar)
• Implement shift-left testing practices aligned with TDD and improve service testability through engineering partnership
• Validate end-to-end outcomes through database testing using advanced SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions, and subqueries)
• Execute and automate performance and load testing (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, or Locust), analyze results, and recommend fixes
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker), including quality gates, reporting, and failure triage
• Partner with platform and runtime teams to validate deployments and test execution in Kubernetes and cloud environments

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Strong experience with REST API automation for Spring Boot services
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g., Karate, JUnit, TestNG, or similar)
• Strong SQL skills for database validation, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and subqueries
