The Financial Education Resource Coordinator supports the successful delivery of MetLife's PlanSmart financial education programs by coordinating event operations, managing workshop setup and reporting activities, maintaining customer and event data, and supporting internal and external stakeholders. This role serves as a key operational partner to Program Directors, Implementation Consultants, and other business partners, helping ensure a seamless experience from workshop setup through post-event reporting.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage and prioritize workshop requests and operational activities to meet business objectives and service standards.
- Build and maintain event registration sites, workshop records, and related data within event management systems.
- Partner with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful event execution and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate customer, event, attendance, and participant data, process attendance and survey outcomes.
- Generate and distribute reports and provide operational support to sales teams, leadership, and business partners.
- Support account onboarding, process improvements, documentation, and special projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required with 2+ years of experience in event coordination, operations, customer service, or administrative support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems, databases, and applications in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience supporting events, meetings, training programs, or educational initiatives.
- Proficiency with event management systems, CRM platforms, customer databases, and AI-enabled tools.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management.
- Experience working with reporting tools and interpreting business data.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The expected salary range for this position is $47,000 - $55,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
