We are looking for a commercially minded and analytical Project Associate to join Aon's Nordic M&A and Transaction Solutions (AMATS) practice in Stockholm. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of insurance, M&A and advisory services, supporting private equity firms, infrastructure investors and corporate clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. Working closely with clients, advisors and colleagues across Aon's global network, you will help identify, evaluate and manage insurance-related risks in complex acquisitions and divestments. The AMATS team brings together specialists across insurance, human capital, cyber and intellectual property, with a dedicated focus on transactional activity. As part of the Insurance Due Diligence team, you will play a key role in helping clients understand insurance exposures and opportunities before, during and after a transaction. What you'll do As a Project Associate within Insurance Due Diligence, you will support clients throughout the M&A process by delivering project management and insurance advisory services on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. Working closely with transaction teams, clients and internal specialists, you will help assess insurance-related risks, coordinate due diligence activities and support the development of post-close insurance solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the delivery of insurance due diligence engagements for private equity, infrastructure and corporate clients. Reviewing insurance programs, risk exposures and insurance-related information provided during the transaction process. Coordinating information requests, management interviews and due diligence workstreams. Assisting in the preparation of insurance due diligence reports and transaction-related recommendations. Reviewing insurance-related provisions in transaction documentation and identifying key risk considerations. Coordinating Aon's internal specialists and resources across different geographies and areas of expertise. Liaising with clients, legal advisors and other transaction stakeholders throughout the deal process. Supporting post-close insurance program placement and implementation activities. Identifying opportunities to introduce additional Aon solutions and advisory services that may create value for clients before and after the completion of a transaction. What we're looking for Experience and qualifications: A newly completed Master’s degree in economics, finance or law (or equivalent qualification) or one year of experience within the insurance industry from broking, underwriting, risk advisory or a related insurance discipline. Fluency in written and spoken English, in addition to a Scandinavian language. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
