Power Platform Automation Engineer – Consultant

READY TO STEP INTO THE NEW?

At Accenture, you'll have the opportunity to work with global clients, the latest technologies, and a vibrant community of experts. You'll help shape the future of work, where people, low-code solutions and AI agents work side by side. If you're passionate about Microsoft Power Platform and want to deliver impact through intelligent and agentic automation, we'd love to meet you.

Technology Strategy & Consulting works with senior leaders to shape direction and deliver technology-enabled transformation with enduring impact. As an Analyst / Consultant, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution, helping clients make sense of complexity, forming clear perspectives, and translate ideas into meaningful change.

You will be driven by curiosity, energized by complex problems, and eager to explore how emerging technologies-including AI-can be applied thoughtfully to create real business advantage. From day one, you will be exposed to senior stakeholders, intellectually demanding work, and opportunities to grow rapidly through experience and mentorship.

WORK YOU’LL DO

As a Power Platform Automation Engineer (Consultant), you will design and deliver automation and AI agent solutions that transform and streamline business processes across industries, owning workstreams from discovery to hypercare and helping junior team members grow.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as the bridge between business and technology, leading discovery workshops and translating business needs into functional and technical designs.
• Design, build, and maintain automated workflows and applications with Power Automate and Power Apps (canvas, model-driven and code apps).
• Design and implement AI agents with Copilot Studio, combining agent flows, connectors, MCP tools and human-in-the-loop approvals.
• Develop custom components using Dataverse, custom connectors, APIs, and Azure services as needed.
• Own a workstream or small set of automations: estimation, planning, status reporting, and quality of delivery.
• Define and apply ALM, environment and governance standards, ensuring solutions are secure, compliant and supportable.
• Produce clear documentation, including BRDs, solution design documents, process flows, and user manuals.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automations, including RPA resilience against application and UI changes.
• Lead testing cycles (pre-UAT, UAT) and support deployment and hypercare.
• Coach and review the work of Analysts, contributing to team standards, reusable components and knowledge sharing.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer who will cover the full spectrum of Business Analysis and Development, specializing in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse) and agentic automation with Copilot Studio. The ideal candidate has already delivered solutions end-to-end, can lead conversations with business stakeholders, and turns requirements into robust, scalable and well-governed solutions that combine low-code, pro-code and AI agents.

Key Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience delivering solutions on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse) is a must.
• Proven ownership of the end-to-end automation lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Experience building AI agents and AI-powered flows with Copilot Studio (topics, knowledge sources, actions/tools, agent flows) and AI Builder.
• Solid experience with Dataverse data modeling and security, custom connectors, and REST API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with RPA, ideally Power Automate Desktop (desktop flows), with UiPath or Blue Prism considered a strong asset.
• Working knowledge of ALM and governance: solutions, environment strategy, Power Platform Pipelines or Azure DevOps/GitHub, Managed Environments, and DLP policies.
• Integration experience across the Microsoft ecosystem (SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management).
• Ability to function as both Business Analyst and Developer, running workshops, writing requirements (BRD / user stories), and estimating effort.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing settings with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify automation and AI agent opportunities, and build the business case.
• A collaborative mindset and a positive, supportive attitude: we value people who are team players, help others grow, and contribute to a healthy, respectful work culture.
• A structured, self-organized mindset, attention to detail, and eagerness to continuously learn and grow.
• University degree (AEI) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, written and spoken.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Power Apps code apps (React/TypeScript) or PCF components, and with Model Context Protocol (MCP) for connecting agents to tools and data.
• Exposure to Azure AI services / Azure OpenAI and Responsible AI principles (human-in-the-loop, data protection, evaluation of agent outputs).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600 are a plus but are not required.
• Experience in banking or financial services environments.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

• Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package: life/health insurance, bonus scheme, monthly vouchers, flexible work model, paid overtime (if needed), TEA Accenture, and more.
• Access to continuous learning through global platforms and local academies, including Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure AI) and hands-on Generative & Agentic AI training.
• Clear career path with coaching and mentoring opportunities.
• Exposure to top-tier clients, cross-industry projects, and cutting-edge technologies, from low-code automation to enterprise AI agents.
• A diverse and inclusive culture that fosters innovation and teamwork.
• Opportunities to participate in social impact and corporate citizenship initiatives.
• Additional relocation support under the Brain Regain initiative.
