Company Description
Join us. But be you. At Deloitte, you’ll do more than just join something, you’ll add something. You’ve found a place that values your curiosity, passion, and desire to work alongside brilliant people on the things that really matter. There really is only one question: What impact do YOU want to make?
We’re looking for an AI Consultant to help deliver end‑to‑end generative and agentic artificial intelligence solutions across Deloitte’s internal practices, as well as client engagements. This role will be part of a team who turn defined business problems into tested, secure and usable solutions that reduce manual effort, improve decision-making or strengthen service delivery.
If you’re passionate about applying generative and agentic AI to real-world problems, enjoy working across the full solution lifecycle, and want to help organisations transform through applied AI, this role offers the opportunity to contribute at the forefront of enterprise AI delivery.
About the role
As an AI Consultant within Deloitte Strategy Risk & Transactions, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering full‑stack, end‑to‑end generative and agentic AI solutions for our teams. You’ll contribute from early concept and use‑case design through to build, testing, deployment, and scaling.
You will help teams move AI use cases from prototype to production by applying appropriate technical, security, privacy and responsible AI controls. You will also develop reusable templates, components and guidance that improve the speed and consistency of future delivery.
Job Description
A week in the life of an AI Consultant might look like:
- Contribute to end‑to‑end delivery of generative and agentic AI projects, from problem definition and solution design through to build, testing, and deployment.
- Design, develop, and evaluate AI solutions using leading digital platforms, cloud services, and foundation models.
- Apply practical expertise across prompt flows, agentic design, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and related architectures to deliver scalable, enterprise‑ready solutions.
- Develop testing and evaluation approaches to assess model performance, accuracy, and business value, optimising outputs through prompt engineering and fine‑tuning techniques.
- Advise teams on how to unlock insights, efficiencies, and new opportunities through applied generative and agentic AI.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional Deloitte teams to translate business requirements into effective AI solutions.
- Contribute to tools, accelerators, and reusable assets that embed AI into everyday consulting delivery, while staying current with emerging AI platforms, tools, and use cases.
Qualifications
Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:
- Experience in a consulting, learning & development, digital, data, engineering, or technology delivery role, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Good understanding of generative and agentic AI concepts, platforms, and enterprise use cases.
- Hands‑on experience (or strong interest) developing or configuring at least one of the following: prompt workflows, retrieval-augmented generation solutions, AI agents, model evaluation frameworks or AI-enabled applications.
- A structured approach to solution design, delivery, and problem solving.
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience contributing to written artefacts such as solution designs, proposals, technical documentation, or business cases.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and teams.
- Strong curiosity and motivation for continuous learning as AI technologies evolve rapidly.
