FTS Network Services – Data Analytics Advisor.
About your role:
- Serve as the lead architect for enterprise network and infrastructure data platforms, establishing the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for data architecture supporting automation, observability, analytics, and operational intelligence.
- Architect, design, and oversee scalable, secure, and highly available data solutions capable of supporting both real-time and historical network telemetry, event management, automation workflows, and enterprise reporting requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data models, ensuring consistent and efficient storage, integration, and retrieval of network configuration, performance, fault, capacity, and event data across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Act as the technical authority for Snowflake, driving enterprise adoption, architecture standards, performance optimization, security controls, data governance, and best practices across the platform.
- Design and implement large-scale Snowflake data warehouse solutions, including data lakes, data marts, dimensional models, ELT frameworks, and advanced analytical data structures.
- Develop and optimize enterprise data pipelines leveraging Snowflake, SQL, Python, and cloud-native services to ingest, transform, validate, and distribute high-volume operational and telemetry data.
- Partner with senior network architects, infrastructure leaders, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business and technology objectives into scalable data solutions.
- Drive implementation of enterprise data governance capabilities including metadata management, lineage tracking, master data management, data quality monitoring, retention policies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Establish architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and engineering best practices for data ingestion, integration, transformation, analytics, and reporting.
- Lead evaluation and integration of emerging technologies such as streaming platforms, graph databases, AI/ML solutions, and advanced analytics tools to improve network automation, predictive insights, and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams while influencing enterprise technology decisions.
- Ensure all data platforms comply with security, privacy, risk, auditing, and regulatory requirements while maintaining enterprise-scale performance and availability.
- Present architectural recommendations, technical strategies, and solution roadmaps to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, or Enterprise Data Platform design.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including architecture, administration, performance tuning, security, governance, and enterprise-scale data modeling.
- Snowflake expertise is required and considered a critical qualification for this role.
- Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, data warehousing concepts, and large-scale database design.
- Advanced SQL development and optimization skills.
- Strong Python development experience for data engineering, automation, orchestration, and advanced data processing.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale ETL/ELT frameworks and modern cloud data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, lineage, data quality management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting streaming data architectures and real-time analytics solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Kafka, Confluent, Spark, Flink, Databricks, or similar data processing technologies.
- Experience supporting network operations, observability, telecommunications, infrastructure engineering, or network automation environments.
- Experience implementing AI/ML, predictive analytics, or operational intelligence solutions.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or enterprise analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of graph databases and advanced data relationship modeling.
- Experience working within highly regulated enterprise environments requiring strong governance, security, and audit controls.
Important information about this role:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
How you’ll work:
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
- This role requires being on call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
