For this role we are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking leader to help drive and scale our Logistics & Distribution consulting business. The ideal candidate has a demonstrable track record of consulting practice and strategy development, thought leadership, digital transformation, and bringing innovative solutions to market including emerging AI, end-to-end decision intelligence and automation capabilities in the Logistics & Distribution domain. Candidates should have broad logistics & distribution experience and a passion for delivering innovative, high-impact solutions in this evolving sector.

This role helps grow the logistics and distribution practice by shaping service offerings, go-to-market strategies, and advisory capabilities that respond to industry and technology shifts. It combines market development, executive relationship-building, project delivery leadership, team development, and thought leadership to help clients address complex supply chain challenges through network transformation, operating models, packaged solutions, software-as-a-service (SaaS), AI, automation, and other digital capabilities.
- Lead the expansion and innovation of logistics and distribution offerings, go-to-market strategies, and advisory capabilities to anticipate industry and technology shifts and increase market demand.
- Partner with account teams, Deloitte Industries, Offering teams, and alliance partners to identify client opportunities, shape proposals, cultivate executive relationships, and align logistics and digital capabilities to client needs.
- Lead complex logistics advisory and digital transformation projects, including network transformation, operating model design, packaged solution implementation, and AI-driven logistics and distribution optimization.
- Guide project teams, clients, and technology partners to meet project goals, timelines, quality standards, and risk expectations while resolving technical and operational issues.
- Develop talent and thought leadership by mentoring team members, supporting external hiring for key skill gaps, activating alliance collaboration, and presenting insights on automation, AI adoption, decision intelligence, resiliency, warehousing, transportation, cost to serve, and fulfillment execution.
Required qualifications
- 12 years of logistics and distribution experience
- Strategy experience
- Sales experience
- Digital solution implementation (SaaS and AI)
- Logistics project delivery
- Bachelors Degree
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred qualifications
- Consulting experience
- Masters Degree or MBA
- Digital, automation or analytics solutions experience in logistics and distribution
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $171-600-$238,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
