As a Workday Finance - Senior Associate you will help clients optimize operational efficiency by analyzing needs, implementing Workday software solutions, and providing training and support across a range of finance-focused applications within our Digital Core Modernisation practice. As a Senior Associate you will build meaningful client relationships, manage assigned workstreams, mentor junior team members, and navigate changing project demands while developing your technical skills and business context. In this role at PwC, you will support finance transformation efforts, interpret data to inform recommendations, and contribute to deliverables that align with client objectives and the broader Workday Finance agenda.
Responsibilities
- Delivering Workday Finance consulting support across client workstreams, translating business needs into configured application solutions
- Analyzing finance processes, controls, and reporting requirements to support implementation and optimization efforts
- Configuring and testing Workday Finance features, integrations, and data workflows to align with client operating models
- Interpreting client feedback and transaction data to identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements
- Developing training materials and user guidance that support adoption of new finance application functionality
- Coordinating issue resolution across technical and functional activities, tracking progress through implementation milestones
- Reviewing assigned deliverables from junior team members and providing feedback to strengthen accuracy and consistency
- Building client relationships by responding to questions, anticipating needs, and supporting discussions on project direction
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience of Workday product experience
- Current pursuit of or an a Workday Pro certification
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance, Human Resources/Industrial Relations, Organizational Management/Behavior
- Demonstrating Workday Finance implementation support across client engagements
- Utilizing finance technology knowledge to interpret business process needs
- Interpreting data and recommendations for finance transformation efforts
- Navigating ambiguity while responding to diverse client perspectives
- Maintaining professional standards while mentoring junior team members
