The internship in short
The programme kicks off end of March and will last for 10 weeks (full-time). As an intern, you are recruited to a specific job role where you will be involved in daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of banking. You will be guided by at least one tutor during your internship. You will get to know SEB, meet professionals across the WAM division, get to know other interns and start building your network. Wealth & Asset Management
The Wealth & Asset Management division (WAM) serves a wide range of client segments, including high-net-worth individuals, business families, private equity firms, institutional investors and corporate clients.
WAM has approximately 2000 employees across 15 markets: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Singapore, Poland and Switzerland.
SEB Private Equity is a Nordic-based team that invests in private equity both in the Nordics and globally. We manage capital from top-tier third-party institutions and have established ourselves as a global private equity platform with a strong Nordic foundation. With a combined USD 4bn under management, the team makes control investments in promising Nordic companies through its Nordic strategy, while also investing globally through partnerships and co-investments.
What You Will Do
SEB Private Equity is seeking a driven individual who is eager to work with private equity investments on a broad geographical scale. Join our team and contribute to our continued success.
As an Intern you will be working across our private equity strategies. You will assist the deal teams in various tasks in relation to sourcing, new investments, portfolio companies, investor materials and other work streams. You are structured, proactive, and have a genuine interest in business and finance.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a bachelor or master’s degree within Economics, Finance, Engineering or equivalent
• You have studied at least 2 years at university level
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of initiative and integrity
• Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken
• Excellent financial and presentation skills as well, as well as a strong business acumen
