Role Purpose
The Global Media Solutions Manager will support the integration of Commerce Media into the broader Marketing Services portfolio. The role will embed Commerce Media as a recommended execution channel within acquisition and spend-growth solutions, while enabling each region to adapt the approach to local client needs, market maturity, media ecosystems, and regulatory requirements.
This position will manage existing capabilities and support the development and deployment of new, scalable Marketing Services solutions globally. It will create practical frameworks that connect strategy, channel recommendation, activation, and measurement, while partnering with Regional Product Management, Business Development, and Client Services teams to ensure relevance, adoption, and effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Commerce Media Integration & Solution Development
• Define how Commerce Media is incorporated into Marketing Services acquisition and spend-growth solutions as a recommended activation channel.
• Develop integrated solution frameworks that connect Mastercard data and insights, audience strategy, channel selection, activation, and measurement.
• Translate Commerce Media capabilities into clear, repeatable use cases for issuers, merchants, and other relevant client segments.
• Continuously improve the solutions through better use of data, technology, partners, and results measurement.
Regional Adaptation & Go-to-Market
• Partner with Regional Product Management teams to adapt Commerce Media propositions, delivery models, and go-to-market strategies to regional needs.
• Balance global consistency with the flexibility required for local media landscapes, client priorities, commercial models, and regulatory considerations.
• Support regional teams in moving from opportunity identification to client proposition, activation planning, and delivery readiness.
Media Strategy, Planning & Optimization
• Shape paid media strategies across relevant channels, including search, social, display, video, programmatic, and offline media, with Commerce Media embedded where it can strengthen outcomes.
• Build scalable media playbooks and decision frameworks using Mastercard's proprietary data and insights, client data, and approved external sources to improve channel decisions and return on investment.
• Partner with internal analytics teams, delivery teams, and external agencies to test, measure, and optimize campaign performance, including the use of experimentation and incrementality approaches where appropriate.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Commercialization
• Work across Marketing Services, Commerce Media, Product, Business Development, Client Services, regional teams, and external partners to create integrated client solutions.
• Support the commercial integration of media capabilities, tools, and services into the broader Marketing Services go-to-market offering.
• Contribute to client engagements as a solution ambassador, helping teams articulate the value proposition and translate complex capabilities into practical recommendations.
Enablement & Thought Leadership
• Create playbooks, training, toolkits, and commercial content that enable Business Development, Client Services, Product, and delivery teams.
• Capture and scale best practices from regional execution, using market feedback and delivery experience to strengthen the global solution.
• Represent Marketing Services in relevant internal and external forums and contribute informed perspectives on media, Commerce Media, acquisition, engagement, and spend growth.
Candidate Profile
This role is particularly suited to a strong internal candidate who combines a deep understanding of Marketing Services with hands-on delivery experience and a credible media background.
• Deep knowledge of Mastercard Marketing Services solutions, operating model, delivery processes, and regional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience delivering both customer acquisition and spend-growth or engagement programs.
• Strong background in media strategy, planning, buying, activation, optimization, or performance media.
• Experience translating client and business objectives into integrated media and marketing solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively across regions and functions in a matrixed global organization and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgment and experience supporting client conversations, sales opportunities, and go-to-market activity.
• Ability to simplify complex capabilities into clear value propositions, frameworks, playbooks, and client-facing narratives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Preferred Experience
• Experience across Marketing Services, digital marketing, performance media, media agencies, marketing technology, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading the delivery and implementation of complex marketing solutions and measuring impact on client business outcomes.
• Understanding of media activation and measurement platforms, such as DSPs, CDPs, media mix platforms, and campaign analytics tools.
• Experience managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Why This Role Matters
Commerce Media represents an important opportunity to strengthen how Marketing Services connects Mastercard insights to execution and measurable outcomes. By embedding Commerce Media within acquisition and spend-growth solutions, this role will help create a more integrated, data-driven, and scalable proposition for clients globally, while preserving the regional flexibility required for effective execution.
