The Public Finance practice delivers credit opinions on public-sector issuers — including states and provinces, local governments, public agencies, not-for-profit entities, and infrastructure-related municipal issuers — translating economic trends, revenue stability, governance, and long-term liabilities into transparent views that help communities finance essential services. The Charter Schools team covers more than 600 charter school, independent school, and community college and community college district ratings, combining rigorous analytical standards with a deep understanding of the unique credit dynamics within these sectors.

• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and analytical rigor across the team.

Core Analytical & Delivery

• Lead high-quality credit and capital markets analysis across assigned issuers and sectors, delivering forward-looking insights that support ratings, monitoring activities, risk assessments, and rating committee discussions in a fast-paced environment.

• Identify and implement workflow improvements in partnership with Data, Technology, Compliance, In-Business Control, and Methodology teams to scale best practices.

Stakeholder & Market Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with issuers, investors, and market participants through credible, insight-led engagement.
