We are building a new workforce strategy and organisation effectiveness capability within Finance, People and Engagement. We will partner with business leaders, HR Directors and HR Business Partners to solve complex workforce challenges, support organisational change and create practical workforce solutions that can be scaled across Macquarie. This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and help shape a capability that will have a lasting impact across the organisation.
We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.
In this role you will help establish and grow a new workforce strategy capability while applying that capability to some of Macquarie’s most important business priorities. Working closely with senior leaders, HR Directors and HR Business Partners, you will lead organisation design, workforce strategy and structural change initiatives.
This is a unique hybrid role that combines advisory, delivery, capability building and product development. You will spend time working directly with senior leaders to solve complex workforce challenges, while also building the frameworks, methods, playbooks and governance required to create an enterprise workforce strategy capability. You will help develop the capability of HR Business Partners through hands-on partnership, ensuring knowledge and expertise are embedded within the broader team.
You will be comfortable moving between strategy and execution, identifying the root causes of workforce challenges and turning insights into practical outcomes. You will also play an important role in helping the organisation move towards more scalable workforce practices by developing consistent approaches that can be adopted across different business groups.
This role offers a rare opportunity to build something new. You will join an environment that is evolving rapidly, with significant organisational change, transformation and future workforce planning priorities creating both challenge and opportunity. Your work will directly influence how workforce strategy develops at Macquarie and how the organisation prepares for future capability needs.
