What you'll do
You will own and deliver the end-to-end operational backbone for Travel, Logistics, & Infrastructure’s (TLI) conference portfolio and related client activation activities globally.
This is a high-visibility, senior leadership-facing role that sits at the heart of how TLI engages clients, practitioners, and the broader McKinsey community.
You will be based in Manila as part of our TLI practice. This team helps leading organizations across the transportation, logistics, infrastructure, and mobility sectors tackle their most critical challenges and capture growth opportunities through industry expertise, innovative thinking, and impactful client service. You will work closely with TLI's global practice leadership, Reach & Engagement team, and client activation colleagues across regions to ensure TLI's conferences, practice communications, and firm forums are delivered with excellence and strategic intent.
You will lead and coordinate a broad range of conference and stakeholder engagement activities for the TLI practice. You will support the end-to-end delivery of executive conferences and events, such as the Future of Logistics and the Global Infrastructure Initiative (GII), including speaker identification and management, invitee coordination, event logistics, run-of-show planning, and post-event follow-up, working with Reach & Engagement, subsector or initiative leaders on the practice team. You will help to manage speaker pipelines from outreach and briefing preparation through onsite or virtual execution, while collaborating closely with external vendors, venue partners, firm events teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery. You will ensure that executive participation, external programs, and event outcomes are closely integrated with our priority audiences and client activation agendas.
You will also coordinate TLI's participation across major firm conferences and convenings, preparing leadership updates and other materials on behalf of the global practice, and serving as the primary operational liaison between TLI and firm event teams. In addition, you will oversee TLI's contributions to firm-wide and external communications channels, including platforms such as First Alert, Expertise, and firm taxonomy systems, while partnering with the Reach & Engagement team to support the distribution of thought leadership and external-facing content.
You will own the TLI internal communications program, including managing the editorial calendar, drafting and distributing newsletters, synthesizing practice news and client activation highlights, supporting leadership announcements, and other practice-wide updates. You will work closely with TLI leadership and workstream owners to identify and develop compelling content while maintaining a consistent voice across communications and engagement initiatives.
Your work will help strengthen TLI's visibility and impact across the firm and in the broader industries and subsectors that we serve. By ensuring high-quality events, effective communication, and strong stakeholder engagement, you will enable client activation, showcase the practice's expertise, foster collaboration across the global TLI community, and support the continued growth and influence of the practice.
