Consultant Anesthesiologist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Anesthesiologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in anesthesia, perioperative care, pain management, and the management of high-risk surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administer and monitor general, regional, and other appropriate forms of anesthesia.
• Provide anesthesia care for elective and emergency surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological parameters throughout surgery.
• Manage high-risk patients and complex intraoperative emergencies.
• Provide postoperative care and appropriate pain management.
• Perform airway management, resuscitation, and other critical interventions when required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Support safe patient recovery and manage anesthesia-related complications.
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB/DA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Strong expertise in general and regional anesthesia.
• Experience managing high-risk surgical patients and perioperative emergencies.
• Excellent clinical judgment, airway management, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
