Team & Role Overview

Our Securities Finance Product Solutions Delivery team is a critical division within Investor Services, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge financing and collateral solutions to the world's leading institutional investors.

We are seeking a talented Client Executive (AVP) to serve as a strategic partner to our institutional clients. In this client-facing advisory role, you will provide expert consultation on collateral management and financing to help clients optimize their portfolios, manage risk, and meet complex regulatory requirements. You will drive innovation by leveraging Citi's advanced analytical capabilities and Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms to unlock new efficiencies and revenue streams. Acting as a central coordinator, you will orchestrate cross-functional internal teams to deliver seamless, integrated solutions within the Securities Finance product suite as well as the broader Services business unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Client Partnership: Act as a primary strategic advisor, engaging with institutional clients to understand their evolving needs and proactively identify opportunities within collateral management (including triparty, bilateral, and cleared collateral frameworks) and securities finance.
• Revenue & Liquidity Optimization: Lead discussions and implement strategies for clients aimed at optimizing liquidity, enhancing capital efficiency and driving alpha revenue generation across their financing and collateral portfolios. 
• Operational Excellence & Collateral Efficiency: Advise clients on best-in-class operational practices, leveraging automation and process improvements to drive efficiency, reduce operational risk, and streamline margin workflows within their collateral management and financing operations.
• AI & Data-Driven Solutions Leadership: Champion the adoption and application of AI-enabled platforms, machine learning insights, and advanced data analytics to provide clients with innovative collateral optimization models, predictive liquidity insights, and superior service levels.
• Cross-Functional Team Orchestration: Coordinate and lead internal product, technology, operations, and control functions to develop and deliver integrated solutions that address complex client challenges and business objectives.
• Relationship Management & Growth: Cultivate robust, long-term client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for deepening engagement and expanding product penetration across securities lending, repo, investment and collateral management services.
• Market & Regulatory Acumen: Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry trends (e.g., Uncleared Margin Rules (UMR), T+1 settlement), regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape in securities financing and collateral management to proactively inform client strategies and internal product development.
• Risk & Governance Stewardship: Lead by example in adhering to strong governance and control frameworks. Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure all client engagements and solutions comply with regulatory standards and firm policies, appropriately assessing risk/reward trade-offs.
• Ethical Conduct & Compliance: Promote a culture of responsible finance, robust governance, ethical conduct, and adherence to Citi's Code of Conduct and all applicable policies and procedures. Obtain and maintain all required registrations and licenses.

Qualifications

• Experience: >3 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, with a strong background in securities finance, collateral management, or institutional client service.
• Analytical Skills: Proven analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Technology Aptitude: Demonstrated strong aptitude for and experience with AI, advanced data analytics, and automation technologies applied to financial operations or collateral optimization.
• Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
