Oracle Health Federal Automation Integration Architect

Oracle Health is seeking an experienced Senior Federal Automation Integration Architect to provide technical leadership and expertise across complex Federal healthcare implementations, deployments, and special projects.

As a senior-level contributor and recognized subject matter expert, the Automation Integration Architect will lead automation, integration, and testing activities across Oracle Health solutions. This role partners closely with Oracle Health delivery teams and Federal clients to ensure integrated solutions are effectively designed, validated, automated, and deployed while meeting quality, schedule, and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of integration architecture, test automation, solution validation, technical consulting, risk management, and client-facing leadership within complex healthcare technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Integration Architecture

• Provide technical leadership for automation and integration activities across Federal Oracle Health implementations and special projects.
• Design, develop, and support scalable automation approaches that improve testing efficiency, consistency, and solution quality.
• Evaluate integrated workflows and system interactions to ensure solutions operate effectively across applications, departments, and technology components.
• Translate business, functional, and technical requirements into comprehensive integration and automation strategies.
• Identify opportunities to expand automation coverage, reduce manual testing, and improve repeatability across deployments.
• Apply architecture and integration expertise to identify upstream and downstream impacts across complex healthcare environments.

Testing & Solution Validation

• Lead testing strategy and execution for site deployments, integrated workflows, and special projects.
• Provide expertise in test scenario design, requirements analysis, interdepartmental workflow validation, automation, optimization, standards, and testing playbooks.
• Coordinate end-to-end and integration testing activities across Oracle Health and client teams.
• Ensure automated and manual testing approaches provide appropriate coverage of critical business and clinical workflows.
• Support defect identification, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution.
• Develop and promote reusable testing assets, automation frameworks, standards, and leading practices.

Technical & Engagement Leadership

• Serve as a senior technical advisor to Oracle Health project teams, Federal clients, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Coordinate and lead automation, integration, and testing activities throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to consultants and project team members.
• Monitor engagement progress and proactively identify technical risks, integration dependencies, testing gaps, and potential impacts to deployment.
• Develop and recommend mitigation strategies for complex integration and testing challenges.
• Ensure technical activities remain aligned with project scope, timelines, quality expectations, and client objectives.

Risk, Quality & Change Management

• Provide oversight and risk mitigation for automation, integration, and testing activities.
• Ensure appropriate change control processes are established and followed by Oracle Health and client teams.
• Evaluate proposed changes for potential impacts to integrations, automated testing, workflows, scope, and deployment readiness.
• Proactively identify and communicate risks, dependencies, defects, and readiness concerns.
• Promote consistent quality standards and technical practices across Federal engagements.

Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Build trusted relationships with Federal customers, technical teams, project leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Partner with clients to understand business, clinical, operational, and technical requirements.
• Ensure Oracle Health technology and integration strategies support the client's broader objectives.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Articulate the value of Oracle Health's implementation methodology, automation strategy, and integration standards.
• Collaborate across functional, technical, testing, engineering, and program teams to drive successful outcomes.

Tools, Standards & Continuous Improvement

• Demonstrate proficiency with tools supporting automation, integration, testing, deployment, defect management, and ongoing solution maintenance.
• Apply Oracle Health methodologies, standards, and leading practices throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Develop reusable automation assets, integration standards, technical documentation, playbooks, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, testing efficiency, integration quality, and deployment consistency.
• Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring, and technical guidance to other team members.

Basic Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years of consulting experience.
• Experience with system integration, test automation, software testing, solution architecture, implementation, or deployment within complex technology environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical activities across integrated enterprise solutions.
• Experience developing or supporting automated testing strategies, tools, frameworks, or processes.
• Strong understanding of integration testing, requirements validation, defect management, risk management, and change control.
• Ability to understand complex system interactions and identify cross-functional and cross-solution impacts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical, functional, clinical, and client teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant professional experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium solutions and integrated healthcare workflows.
• Healthcare Information Technology (HCIT) experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations, deployments, or modernization programs.
• Experience with test automation tools, integration technologies, interface validation, and end-to-end workflow testing.
• Experience supporting Federal healthcare customers or other complex government technology programs.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a technical lead or subject matter expert across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Experience developing reusable automation frameworks, standards, testing assets, or technical playbooks.

Federal Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to Federal client contract requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate government security clearance and/or credential required for the position and client engagement.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical architect, problem solver, and trusted advisor who can lead automation and integration efforts across complex Federal healthcare environments.

This individual will combine strong technical expertise with the ability to understand clinical and business workflows, translate requirements into effective automation and integration solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate across multiple teams.

Success in this role requires the ability to connect systems, automate validation, identify integration risks, improve testing efficiency, and ensure high-quality solutions are ready for successful Federal healthcare deployments.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 to $166,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
