The Role
The Role
Kyndryl Consult is the fastest-growing business within the organisation and instrumental to the company’s strategic growthobjectives. You will play a key leadership role across multi-disciplinary teams, guiding them through complex consulting engagements and be responsible for creating and positioning strategic change agendas within Kyndryl's largest accounts across the C-suite, spanning the intersection between complex Business and IT customer solutions, transformations that impact across the entire customer ecosystem.
As a Consult Partner – Public Sector, you will have a pivotal role in driving profitable growth,leveragingour comprehensive capabilities to build strong client relationships, and leading your team to success. This role demands deep relationships and market presence across the UK Transport sector, with experience in Education consideredadvantageous. Your leadership will be critical in fostering talent development and innovation within the organisation.
This role will also lead the overall client engagement and deliver high-quality client work alongside senior client stakeholders. Working in a transaction environment, which may be pre-deal or post-deal, planning post-deal implementation, andultimately supportingexecution. Partners will be focused onfinancial impact, utilisation and contribution, clientimpactand leadership.
A Consult Partner will be aligned to one of our core value pillars: Technical Continuous Modernisation, Innovation at Scale, or Security and Resilience. They will also have an industry focus in Public Sector.
Candidates must have a strongtrack recordof delivering large-scale digital transformation engagements, deep client relationships within their industry domain, and proven ability to shape and lead complex consulting programmes aligned to one or more of our core value propositions.
The successful candidate will be expected to bring an established network and credibility within the UK Transport sector and leverage this to accelerate Kyndryl Consult growth.
Partner Expectations
Owns and drives market creation within the Transport sector.
Builds and executes account growth strategies across strategic transport accounts.
RepresentsKyndryl externally with transport industry bodies,analystsand senior government stakeholders.
Develops future consulting leaders and partner talent.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Contribute to Profitable Growth:
Drive significant financial outcomes through signings and revenue targets consisting of c. £12-15m per annum in volume (i.e. Consult) sales whilst overseeing a similar target for managed revenue.
Ensure sustained growth and profitability, managing margin expectations and backlog growth.
Originate, shape, pursue and convert strategic consulting opportunities.
Undertake scoping and fee negotiation on engagements while ensuring profitability and understanding, andcontainingrisk
Client Engagement:
Build andmaintaindeep relationships with client CXOs and be seen as the 'go-to' person and a trusted advisor by senior executives
Leading C-level client interactions and consulting initiatives,deliverablesand outputs of a deal engagement
Established executive-level relationships across the UK Transport sector and broader public sector ecosystem, with a demonstrabletrack recordof influencing transformation agendas and securing strategic consulting engagements.
Demonstrate credibility and experience to advise and deliver on complex consulting engagements
Enhance client satisfaction, as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) and new relationship development; Secure client references
Operational Excellence:
Achieve individual and team utilisation targets
Lead the design of complex engagements and take responsibility for the oversight of delivery, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction
Act as the ongoing client escalation point for delivery engagements where the Consult Partner has the CXO / Sponsor key relationship.

Required Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in client engagement and relationship management at the CXO level
Demonstrable ability to build and commercialise relationships with senior executives
Proventrack recordof selling, leading and executing complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting,corporateor public sector environment
Effective financial acumen with experience in driving revenue growth and managing margins
Experience in managing or supporting high-value business development activities with senior stakeholders
Candidates must have experience in Technical Continuous Modernisation, Innovation at Scale, or Security and Resilience, along with a strong industry focus in Public Sector
Deep understanding of industry trends and technology
Sound personal brand and presence in the industry
Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change

Productivity skills:Exceptional and advanced PowerPoint, Word & Excel skills to help convey messages and deliverables through modern consulting techniques. Ability to “roll up sleeves” and create/provide content for proposals,SOWand deliverables. Ensure client and deliverabledeadlines, andconsult management system compliance. Takes pride in creating polished work products
Communication:Possessesexcellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate the insights from findings to relevant stakeholders. Able to manage communication at working levels and C-level gravitas. Able to drive andparticipatein workshops, clearly outlining outcomes and creating/presenting materials and deliverables
Work with Empathy:Lead andparqticipatein client and internal Kyndryl teams with empathy. Ability to understand and recognise multiple points of view but get to outcomes with kindness and resolve. Works well within a complex matrixed business and client environment as well as independently
