Through our independent position with respect to lenders, investors, and investment bankers, our team of professionals is ideally placed to successfully support corporate transactions.

EY Parthenon’s service line has grown significantly in recent years. To support our ongoing growth and our ambitious plans for the future, we are now looking to strengthen our Valuation team at Senior Manager level.

You will be a part of our Valuation, Modelling and Economics team in Istanbul/Ankara and you will get the opportunity to work with major corporate clients, financial institutions and multinational companies. We advise our clients in address their strategic planning, regulatory compliance, financial reporting and fair market value documentation needs. Your key responsibilities

• Be responsible for the execution of valuation projects and have the opportunity to lead EYP teams and manage interactions with client management and senior members of the EYP team
• Participate in the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the client
• Communicate effectively with the engagement lead, the client, and the wider team in a concerted effort towards delivering work products of the highest standard
• Apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to support resolution of issues
• Assist senior team members in developing new business
• Provide coaching to others, share your technical and other knowledge with your team

Skills and attributes for success

We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, analytical, logical thinkers with a passion for valuations and have a very strong attention to detail. Being a strong team player is critical with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of our clients goals.

• A strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering (Management or Industrial) or other related field
• The ability to demonstrate intellectual rigour and commercial awareness, combined with first-class numeracy and analytical skills
• 7+ years of related work experience in valuation, corporate finance, strategic planning, financial modelling; financial /debt advisory
• Strong commercial experience and/or relevant industry or transaction experience,
• Valuation knowledge and experience
• Demonstrated record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects
• Strong project management and organisation skills – as a senior manager in the team you would be in a charge of projects, discuss directly with clients and mentor junior team members
• Strong knowledge and awareness of evolving data analytics tools and related software, including data visualization and database skills to connect data and deliver decision making solutions
• Communicate effectively with the engagement lead, the client, and the wider team in a concerted effort towards delivering work products of the highest standard
• Experience of managing the client relationship and using this to create new business opportunities
• Excellent report writing, communication skills both oral and written in Turkish and English and attention to details
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a diverse team, build effective relationships at all levels and handle multiple responsibilities
