Insured Consulting Analyst – Ireland

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Consulting team, part of our People and Investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a member of our consulting team, you will work directly with Ireland based consultants to coordinate and manage the delivery of services to our clients.  

We will count on you to:

• Provide day-to-day support services to the Defined Contribution consulting team for a portfolio of corporate pension and risk schemes.
• Coordinate administration services provided by the insurer in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor insurer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and act as an escalation point for service issues.
• Deal with consultancy queries received from employers, members, and other third parties.
• Liaise with insurers on all aspects of pension and risk plan matters.
• Draft correspondence and emails to clients on a range of consulting issues.
• Provide dedicated team and helpline phone support to answer member and client queries.
• Ensure the delivery of the highest level of service to our clients, consistent with their expectations and existing SLAs.
• Perform other ad hoc duties and assist with projects as required.

What you need to have:

• Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2).
• Excellent planning and organisational skills to prioritise and effectively manage a wide variety of ongoing tasks in order to meet multiple deadlines.
• Proven team player with a flexible attitude towards work.Advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to further studies or education, such as undertaking Qualified Financial Advisor qualifications.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Management, or a similar field.
• Previous experience in a similar role.Understanding of the pensions and life assurance markets.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work closely with internal teams, clients, and insurers.
• Proactive and goal-oriented.
