2027 Investment Compliance Summer Internship

Our Investment Compliance team is a global function that partners with every part of the business to protect the firm and our clients. The team advises investment, distribution, and operations colleagues on regulatory obligations and monitors portfolio and trading activity against client guidelines. It also administers the firm’s code of ethics and supports regulatory filings and examinations. We are looking for an intern to join us in Summer 2027!

Our hands-on internship is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in compliance, regulatory affairs, law, or risk management within asset management. You will work alongside compliance officers and collaborate with the investment, distribution, legal, and operations teams to support the firm’s regulatory compliance program. In addition to role-specific training, interns also receive mentorship, engage in networking and volunteer opportunities, and benefit from employee resource groups.

Eligibility Criteria

• This program is open to rising undergraduate seniors only. You must be graduating in 2028!
• Ability to start an internship June 7, 2027 and end August 13, 2027
• Ability to be in NYC for the duration of the internship
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

In addition to above, we will also need to see

• Consistent academic achievement working towards a quantitative, analytical major or pre-law track
• Internship and part time work experience
• Leadership experience and excellent judgement
• Demonstrated fluency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to synthesize meaning behind data
• Critical judgment around AI outputs — willingness to verify, fact-check, and not blindly trust AI-generated content, which is increasingly relevant in research and client-facing contexts.
• Familiarity or experience with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or similar)
• Adaptability/willingness to learn internal AI tools
• Exceptional organization and communication skills (written and oral) and strong attention to detail
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn
• Demonstrated interest in the asset management industry
• Sound judgement, maturity, and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

The base salary for this Summer Internship will be $85,000 USD.
