Are you a recent law graduate looking to begin your career in an international and fast-paced M&A environment? We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Project Associate to join Aon's Nordic M&A and Transaction Solutions team in Stockholm. In this role, you will work on complex M&A transactions across the Nordic market, helping clients navigate transactional risks through innovative insurance solutions. This is an opportunity to apply your legal knowledge in a commercial setting while gaining practical experience from live transactions. What you'll do As a Project Associate, you will support the team throughout the W&I insurance process, from the initial review of a transaction to the placement of the insurance policy. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting the team in advising buyers, sellers, private equity firms, law firms and corporates on the use and structure of W&I insurance. • Reviewing transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, due diligence reports and other relevant legal documentation. • Assisting in the preparation of submissions to insurers and helping identify suitable insurance markets for each transaction. • Coordinating information and documentation between clients, legal advisors, insurers and other stakeholders. • Supporting insurers during their underwriting process by collecting, organizing and communicating relevant transaction information. • Reviewing and comparing insurance terms, coverage positions and policy documentation. • Preparing client presentations, pitch materials and other transaction-related documentation. • Participating in client meetings and supporting business development activities. You will work on several transactions simultaneously, often within short timelines. The role therefore requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively. What we're looking for We are looking for someone who has: • A completed Master of Laws degree, or an equivalent law degree. • A strong interest in M&A, commercial law and transaction-related work. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Fluency in at least one Scandinavian language. • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work. • The ability to manage several assignments and deadlines simultaneously. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Prior experience from a law firm, insurance company, financial institution or another transaction-related environment is considered an advantage.
